School books are changing

I found this infograph on how the digitalization is changing the role of textbooks as well as the need of them. I found it interesting to start really thinking and imagining how the digital tools and various new services can change the need of textbooks as well as learning in the future. Actually before I started to investigate I thought there are no eBook providers for school books in Finnish, but I was wrong. There are a lot, actually most of the bigger publishers offer educational books in digital format and then there are some who are specialized for educational books like eOppi, Digioppikirja and OnEdu.
